Itinerary & Program
Days 1 & 2 : Hossegor & Capbreton
Hossegor, or the surfing capital of Europe! A must-visit town for its small designer boutiques, original venues, charming Basque-Landes-style houses and legendary waves.
Day 3 : A day in the basque mountains
Welcome to basque country ! A stroll in Biarritz, a swim in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, ice cream in Guéthary, and a plate of baby squid in Bidart as the sun sets: that's what awaits you during your last few days in the Basque Country <3
Day 4 : San Sebastian
We're in Spain <3 Spain is so dear to Cleo and Noémie that we couldn't possibly skip a stop in San Sebastian! On the agenda: tapas, walks, and tinto de verano.
Jour 5 : Retour à Dax
It's already time to go home! But first, coffee with a sea view and a stroll through a local market to do some last-minute shopping.

Cleo and Noémie
Alternating between her city life in Paris and a quieter existence in Hossegor in the southwest, Cleo is passionate about life. She loves movement, creativity, and meaningful encounters. Active on social media since 2012, the content she has been posting in recent years reflects the lifestyle she now aspires to: a healthier one, where movement through the sports she loves (surfing, pilates, running) allows her to maintain a balanced life, both physically and mentally.
On the other side, Noémie co-founded The Family Van in 2021 with one idea in mind (among others!): to make traditional van travel more responsible and offer group sports trips by van in the south-west of France.
In 2022, we collaborated with Cléo for the first time, and it was love at first sight—both friendly and entrepreneurial! Now friends in real life, we are very happy to be able to offer you a tailor-made trip that we hope will transport you into our respective worlds: van life, the southwest, good food and conversation, and the ocean <3

Practical info
Booking conditions & vehicle insurance
- The driver must be at least 19 years old.
- The driver must have held a category B driving licence for at least 1 year. The licence must have been valid for more than 1 year without interruption.
- Deposit (bank card imprint) for the campervan taken on the day of departure
- Our partner Allianz will insure you for the duration of your trip (from the start of your stay to the end of your stay) against traffic damage (excess applicable).
Meeting time
- Day of departure: you can collect your van between 12 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the day of departure directly from the agency.
- Day of return: you must return the van before 2 p.m. on the day of your return, but we can manage to suit what's best for you!
Access
Agency located 1 minute's walk from Dax TGV station.
- From Paris: 3h30 by TGV from Gare Montparnasse
- From Bordeaux: 1h15 by TGV
- From Lyon: 2 hours by TGV to Paris, then 3 hours 30 minutes by TGV to Dax
- From Toulouse: 3? hours by train

If you are driving to the agency, you can leave your car in our secure car park for the duration of your stay.
