An incredible trip with invaluable advice on the good places in the region, crazy responsiveness for finding out which beaches to surf, a very pleasant team, a really well equipped van that let us have a wonderful trip. Thanks for everything, I recommend it 2000%! 💛

Superb experience with The Family Van. Picking up the van a stone's throw from Dax station, no surprise prices once you are there and a very pleasant welcome. Kévin and Noémie took the time to explain to us how everything in the van works and made themselves available throughout the trip. The van is very pleasant to drive and fully comfortable for creating lovely memories across the Basque Country. I warmly recommend it!

We decided to make the electric van our first van experience, because at a trade show we had had a really good contact with Kevin from Van Family, and a company that is new but very dynamic.
We were on the whole very satisfied with their services ( a great book put together for the trip; support throughout the trip…). The only negative point has to do with the network of charging points, access to which differs depending on the provider, especially difficult in Spain …which adds stress to the trip .

Well-equipped van and the battery has a good range. We were well looked after over WhatsApp and the Landes region is well set up for an electric road trip. Brilliant, and we would do it again with the same family

Excellent first experience in a fitted-out Van! The team at reception showed us really well how the van works (the living area and how the electric side works). They also recommended places to sleep and to eat.

"We rented the Uluwatu van to travel around the Basque Country for a week. It is very well equipped when it comes to sleeping and cooking, we did not go without a thing! It is very pleasant to drive and the driver's space is very comfortable, even on long mountain journeys.

Noémie and Kévin are lovely and give really good advice on using the van, share great addresses and offer tailor-made off-the-beaten-track routes which allowed us to discover exceptional spots ⛰️
The prices are transparent and much better value than the competition: no hidden fees, and a cheaper trip thanks to the electric!

I rented a van from The Family Van to try out using one on holiday before maybe buying myself one. Mission accomplished with this perfect trip on the Basque coast! Superb first experience in an electric vehicle with The Family Van! The van is very comfortable, very well thought out, fitted out and equipped. Easy to drive, it quickly gives you a feeling of freedom. All the info and advice shared by Kevin and Noémie mean you can set off with a light heart. Charging is simple and practical, which makes for calm… and silent driving!
By the beach, in the mountains, in the forest or at a campsite, we had quality time and comfortable nights thanks to this van, which on top of that slips in anywhere.

A wonderful getaway in a campervan!

We recently opted for a campervan rental leaving from Dax to visit the region, and our experience was quite simply great.

Here is why we are giving it five stars:

Easy pick-up: Collecting the van just outside the station was quick and simple, which made the start of our trip easy.
Impeccable fit-out: The van was perfectly equipped, meeting all our needs for a comfortable trip. Even as beginners at this type of travel, we did not go without a thing.
Pleasant to drive: The van turned out to be smooth and pleasant to drive, which greatly added to our enjoyment of discovering the area.
Handy guide: We also went for the extra guide, which turned out to be a nice resource for finding spots to see/restaurants/campsites in the region without any hassle.

And as one possible area for improvement, we would simply suggest giving new campers extra information about campsite closing times, to make their travel experience easier.

To sum up, our campervan getaway was a memorable experience, and we warmly recommend this service to anyone who wants to live a hassle-free adventure in this magnificent region. Thank you for this unforgettable experience! 🚐🌟

A really good experience for us: we spent a week following the suggested itinerary around the Basque Country villages, and we loved it.
Worth noting that the electric van sets a gentle pace, which is very welcome.

We went as a couple for a week, roaming the French and Spanish Basque coast, as well as the Pyrenees. We came back with stars in our eyes:

- magnificent landscapes,
- a tailor-made route put together by the family van meaning we did not have to ask ourselves any questions during the trip: a list of places to sleep and places to visit based on what we fancied...
