The experience was great from start to finish! First experience in a van carried out with The Family Van Team last week in the Basque Country.
An extraordinary stay that allowed us to reconnect with nature, to discover new spots every day in a very accessible way and in complete freedom without a real detailed program; a real pleasure!
The attentive, smiling and available team takes care of you from the beginning to the end of your stay. Everything is designed to make the most of your experience. The van is very well laid out, all spaces are optimized with storage, a kitchen area, an outdoor shower, a dry toilet, a sofa that can be transformed into a double bed, an indoor and outdoor table, outdoor chairs. A lot of things are also provided so that you have as few things as possible to bring by yourself: dishes, bed linen, kitchen essentials etc.
In summary it is an experience that we loved, that is turnkey and that we recommend with our eyes closed!

The van is super comfortable and super easy to drive (and it's a little stressful life that says it) it was great, waking up in the middle of nature with the comfort of a small house is just great. The best vacations in the world actually

3 great days spent thanks to the family van, rediscovering the Basque country under a beautiful sun. Whether before, during the rental and even when returning the van, the welcome and availability of the team was more than great. Electric driving is easy, the layout of the van is practical and pleasant, in short I can only recommend!!

First of all, it was with a smile and enthusiasm that we were welcomed in Dax. Fans of vanlife, we still needed to do a tour of how to use an electric vehicle. The van offers classic and easy to use features, everything is thought out, planned, in detail. We want to emphasize the electric experience: this mode of propulsion is much more suitable for a road trip than diesel for a lot of reasons! It's cool, quiet, relaxing! You can stop 100 times a day to take photos without worrying about the “heaviness” of restarting the engine. Thanks to regenerative braking, you no longer touch the brake pedal when approaching a roundabout or when descending a pass, and each time the gain in autonomy is considerable. We finally consumed 18 kW/h per 100 km, which is much less than expected by Peugeot. Fast charging stations are everywhere. In addition, reconnecting to the campground on 8 or 10 amps practically recharged us the next day's kilometers, making the cost of the night profitable. And as Dax can be the starting point for an infinite number of tourist sites in the mountains or on the coast, we wholeheartedly recommend this experience with Family Van! This small business benefits from making itself known and we wish them well!

Van trip was a big first for me! Despite the unpredictable weather we were able to fully enjoy the surfing sessions and no need for sun when you are accompanied by Noémie and Kévin who are real sunbeams.

On the program: surfing, hikes, magnificent landscapes, restaurants, good humor and lots of laughter!

Very good first experience in an Electric Van. Autonomy and recharging are not really a hindrance. On vacation it allows you to take your time and visit when recharging.

The van is very well appointed and perfectly equipped down to the smallest details (seasonings, dishwashing liquid, tea towel,...).

First time in an incredible van! The van is very well equipped and has a good autonomy. There were two of us and we were able to put all our stuff in. The electric makes the van very fun to drive. The Family Van team is great. We were very well received! It was great!

We tested the ThevanFamily electric van during a 4-day road trip in Landes. We really enjoyed this ecological and economic experience. Indeed, there was no need to fill up with gas (that's the principle) and to recharge, we stopped for the night at campsites or used fast charging stations during our lunch breaks or visits. And what about the layout of the van? Ideal for 1 or 2 people, it offers bed, fridge and kitchen space. A small studio on wheels, super practical. Personally, we fully subscribe to this new concept.

A great relaxing stay thanks to the silence of the electric! The use of the electric vehicle is very easy, including charging at the terminals that can be found easily everywhere thanks to applications or the phone's GPS. As soon as you book, all the explanations are very clear, it's a great idea to view the videos before departure as well as the recommendations on applications to download in order to facilitate the stay. The team is very responsive if you need to (which was the case to help us recharge the vehicle), which is very reassuring when you are not used to it. They are also very good advice on places where you can sleep.It's another way to think about your stay and you get used to it very quickly.We only want to do it again!

It was a great experience, a human, sporting and super rewarding adventure. The idea of mixing road-trip in a campervan, with an electric vehicle, all in a group makes the trip very interesting in all aspects. In terms of surfing lessons, Antoine is simply at the top! Both cool and educational, he plays an important role in this trip by not only limiting himself to his activity as an instructor, he is a guide present from the beginning to the end of the stay. It was a real summer camp between adults, I could not have asked for better!!

The welcome was nice, the van in great condition and finally the electric experience quite cool. The initial stress is gradually disappearing. You just need to know that it's not made for long stays and long mileages. To be done again...

Superb experience in an electric van: silent, good autonomy, very pleasant cruise control, very pleasant living space, mountain roads without any problem etc. Really I recommend for living a different van experience and discovering slow travel!

The trip, the surf teacher, the campervan, the meetings, the stops, the restaurants... everything was great! It was the first time that my partner and I traveled in a van, and we will do it again with our eyes closed. Driving an electric car is a huge plus! A great human and surfing adventure!

The Family Van offers a very well thought-out route, from the Arcachon Bay to the Basque Country, for perfect sports and tourist holidays!
Kevin and Noëmie accompanied us for this week of surfing, skateboarding, walking, hiking... Thanks to them, the group was able to spend good human moments around aperitifs and barbecues in magnificent places.
As for the van, it is very well equipped and has everything you need for a nomad/camping life. In addition to being very easy to drive thanks to the electric one!

The family van team was great and really thought of everything to please their customers. The van is very well equipped and really easy to drive. The destinations were well chosen, the surf lessons good, especially in Capbreton. Two small drawbacks for me: the first was sharing the van with a stranger and having only slept in the tent located above (I knew in advance that it was shared but did not fully understand the tent system and thought that we could have exchanged roles so I am partly responsible for it), the second the poor condition of the equipment from the last surfing lesson, the information should be reported and processed because the Family team is very reactive! Experience to repeat to know real life only in Van:) I recommend!

I rented an electric van to discover the moors with my dog (The Family Van is “Pets Friendly”). My biggest fear was struggling to charge the van. But in fact, there are many stations installed and in addition, easy to locate, with the ChargeMap application. I really enjoyed traveling in silence:) And parking in the only parking space that was left... reserved for electric cars, to plug in. Then, the Landes department, and great! Loved it! The team is very attentive, they help, throughout our trip, if we have a technical question! Very reassuring!

We went in a van with a 14 month old child all weekend. The Family Van team not only gave us names of beautiful campsites to park but also really gave us confidence for this mini road trip on the coast. Driving the electric and automatic van is a real pleasure. Three seats in the front ok for a baby seat. I recommend x1000. Our experience was great from start to finish. Charging or thinking about the consumption of a van is not a problem in itself since I think that it corresponds exactly to the slow and agile lifestyle (prerequisites for traveling in a van). We had a great trip with The Family Van, I highly recommend them!! We rented an electric van for two people for a week. Everything went very well, the van is spacious and comfortable! We had no problems whatsoever with the vehicle's equipment and the recharging of the vehicle. Hoping to be able to go back with them this summer!!

Our van road trip was great. The van itself is very well thought out, we have space, it is airy and not too busy. Easy to use and really pleasant.

We identified a few points that could be improved, such as the cover, which was a bit small for two, I think that individualizing it can be nice and adding a fixed mirror as well. The electrical side is great in the sense that the level of impact on the environment and the silence is really important for us, we had trouble recharging the van because many terminals in Biarritz did not work, which caused a little stress but I think it's a habit and a habit to get into.

In any case the size of the van allowed us to go everywhere without problems and the layout is really nice.

The desire to travel in a van had been itching for some time. After several searches, we came across The Family Van. It was a wonderful experience both in terms of supporting the team in preparing the trip and the experience in an electric van.
We explored the South West for 12 days, from the beaches of Lacanau to Hossegor via the Pyrenees. We loved the freedom that the van offers thanks to its versatile size, its comfort and the tranquility of driving electric.
The region offers charging stations everywhere and at ultra-reasonable prices, magnificent spots and a jovial atmosphere.

We decided to make the electric van our first experience in a van, because we had a very good contact with Kevin from Van Family at a trade show, a new but very dynamic company.
Overall, you were very satisfied with their services (creation of a super book for the trip; assistance throughout the stay...). The only negative downside is related to the network of electrical terminals, access to which is different depending on the distributor, especially difficult in Spain... which puts stress on the trip.

The 5 days in a surfskate yoga van trip that I spent with the group were a pure delight, being the veteran of the band (53 years old) I had a little apprehension but I immediately felt at ease as if we had known each other forever.
The surfskate lessons with @tensehorr allowed me to progress well thanks to Hortense who is very attentive, pro, patient, pedagogue and who provided us with excellent boards from the Yow brand
The vehicles are very well maintained, equipped and very practical.

Great week: friends, surfing, hiking and tapas!
We started as a group in Dax and then in 2 hours we arrived in San Sebastian. We discovered the Spanish Basque Country and the Cantabria region, which is really worth a visit. And we went back to the French Basque Country the last two days.

Great experience with The Family Van. Pick up the van close to Dax station, no surprise price once there and a very pleasant welcome. Kévin and Noémie took the time to explain to us the different functions of the van and were available throughout the trip. We spent a weekend of 3 days in Gironde with a Van The Family Van.The Van is small enough to pass through parking lots that block out at 1.90m, but very well laid out and comfortable.The electric side of the vehicle brings a lot of charge and is very consistent with the slow travel that we like to do in a Van with my girlfriend.I recommend

The van is very comfortable, the team super responsive if necessary, it was a great first vanlife experience 😎 We were three, so we chose the mattress option on the front seats for the 3rd bed and it was very good. When it comes to driving, it's child's play and to recharge the van too! In short, there is no reason not to be tempted:)

We went as a couple for a week exploring the French and Spanish Basque coast, as well as the Pyrenees. We came back full of stars in our eyes:
- Very well equipped vehicles,
- magnificent landscapes,
- a tailor-made itinerary by the family van allowing us to ask ourselves no questions during the trip: list of places to sleep and places to visit according to our desires...

In short, all you have to do is let yourself go and enjoy.

We had a great stay thanks to thefamilyvan. We went as a couple with our 2 and a half year old daughter, it was our first trip in a van and they helped to make it unforgettable!
I had heard about this company on the networks and I admit that I liked the idea of traveling by electric vehicle from an ecological point of view.
As soon as we booked our questions about the car seat (which was purchased for the occasion, thank you again!) and other details were answered very quickly.
The van was very pleasant to drive and everything needed was available. Camping chairs and a tent + duvet were even provided. Everything is ultra-functional and aesthetic what's more. The 2 seater mattress is very comfortable and suited all 3 of us!
It is very easy to do with electricity. We had a little scare in the Spanish Basque mountains with the battery running out quickly but if we honestly know it we didn't feel slowed down at all by the electricity. It's great to drive and to tell yourself that you can enjoy nature by polluting it a little less.

So we highly recommend the experience and especially with TheFamilyVan. Thanks again to the whole team for the organization and the quality property that you provide.

I rented a van from The Family Van to test the use on vacation before maybe buying one. Mission accomplished with this perfect stay on the Basque coast! As I am traveling alone, the team was great at answering my questions and gave me lots of very useful tips to make my stay a great memory. First experience in a Van

We took a short tour of Landes and the Basque Country in an electric van from The Family Van this summer. The team that looked after us is great, helpful, welcoming, available throughout our stay if we had any questions or need help, you can trust them with your eyes closed.
The vans are new, well maintained, functional, everything is there for a good stay.

It was a great experience, a human, sporting and super rewarding adventure. The idea of mixing road-trip in a campervan, with an electric vehicle, all in a group makes the trip very interesting in all aspects. In terms of surfing lessons, Antoine is simply at the top! Both cool and educational, he plays an important role in this trip by not only limiting himself to his activity as an instructor, he is a guide present from the beginning to the end of the stay. It was a real summer camp between adults, I could not have asked for better!!

Great experience, I recommend to anyone who loves adventure, nature and flexibility:) the Family Van team is very caring and the vans are nickel-good! 10/10
